Reviews and Ratings
Despite the small and damp-smelling rooms, the hotel stands out with its cleanliness and maintenance. The sincere and polite service from the long-term staff members elevates the experience. The prime location, albeit closing early for relaxation, offers easy access to key attractions. The dining options, mainly Indian cuisine, could be improved with more variety. Overall, a decent stay with some room for enhancements.
The hotel's rooms were not that comfortable and had a bad smell; however, after switching multiple times, I finally got a nice room at the newer Royal Ascot part of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly overall, making it a great place to stay, especially due to its proximity to shopping areas and easy access to the metro and bus stops. I would recommend the Ascot Hotel to everyone.
The hotel has a mix of experiences. On the positive side, the staff seemed friendly and helpful during our stay, and the location is very convenient, close to public transportation and the main shopping area. However, the rooms had some issues with a bad smell that needed multiple switches before finding a satisfactory one. The older part of the hotel wasn't up to standard, but the newer section provided a better experience.
The hotel's location is excellent for accessing the metro station easily, and the staff ensures a fabulous stay. The rooms are always clean and offer comfort, but the tight space design is a bit awkward. The hotel's dining options are satisfactory with limited choices.
The hotel offers very small rooms close to the metro station, though the front-facing rooms are nice and the staff is extremely helpful. The service was excellent, with a very good team making the check-in smooth, especially the front office manager and the bell desk staff. The location is good for exploring old Dubai with metro connectivity and plenty of dining options. The dining was varied but not entirely as expected. Overall, the experience was positive despite the room size.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room I stayed in was surprisingly quiet despite the nearby clubs, but the loud music at night was bothersome. The hotel staff provided excellent service, especially Mr Peter and Mr Jerrin, making my check-in smooth and quick. The location was convenient being close to the metro station, but there were some noise disturbances from in-house guests. The dining options were varied, and the facilities were satisfactory.
